There is a huge energy potential in the by-products resulting from the farm activities.
Animal wastes, but also whey, olive pomace, scraps, or slaughtering: all these biomasses can feed a biogas plant in an optimal way, to give an additional income to your company, but also to help the environment: Did you know that with the methane recovered from the dejections of twenty adult cattle could one and a half times be done around the world?
The by-products, especially if produced internally, are a free biomass, and available with certainty, possibly integrated, for a maximum of 30%, with dedicated crops.
A biogas plant also offers, thanks to the incentives provided by current legislation, the possibility of significantly integrating corporate income.
Various types of plants are available. COCCUS Mini plants are small-sized plants (from 75 to 190 kW) suitable for liquid biomass; the EUCOmpact systems are the revolutionary compact plants (from 75 to 100 kW), designed for those with solid biomass such as olive pomace. For larger sizes and biomethane, the COCCUS Titan plants, dedicated to those who have predominantly liquid biomass, and EUCO Titan, are available for those with predominantly solid biomasses.
